I was always more of a "drawer" than a "maker". 

 

But at some point the urge of "making" without asking myself too many questions just came. I started getting fidgety and poured myself into making "stuff".

I wasn’t too concerned if it could be called art, I just wanted to feel the materials unveiling and becoming something else. 

​

So I started printing and making... and making and printing... chaotically (obviously! Isn't that just who I am?)

​

And that started taking me back… back to when I was a child and making was just part of every day… just this idea that you could do anything and there was no judgement there… and then I remembered we all start by being makers!

​

Some of the best memories of my childhood are these fleeting moments of seeing my grandmother creating objects out of threads and materials and experimenting with her, not even knowing I was learning something new that would stay with me for life.
